Traders may open and close positions during high-impact news events while participating in both One-Step and Direct Funding evaluations.
However, news trading is strictly prohibited on funded accounts during high-impact (red folder) events.
The list of high-impact news events can be verified on platforms such as Investing.com or ForexFactory.
Violating this rule on a funded account may result in:
- Trade invalidation
- Account termination
