Are Hedging and Martingale Strategies Allowed?

At TOP ONE Funding, both hedging and martingale strategies are allowed — but only under specific conditions and with proper risk management.

Hedging

Hedging within the same account is permitted, as long as it is used responsibly and as part of a structured trading strategy.

However, using multiple small hedge positions to exploit system behavior, latency, or platform mechanics — especially in simulated environments — is considered abusive behavior and a violation of our policies.

Martingale

Martingale strategies are allowed only when applied with controlled risk exposure and proper risk management.

Excessive or aggressive position scaling that leads to unsustainable drawdowns may result in:

  • Account review
  • Strategy restriction
  • Account termination

At TOP ONE Funding, our goal is to maintain a fair and realistic trading environment that reflects genuine market conditions.
